For Cessna Aircraft Company

Designing long-term solutions for a transitional space

The goals of this research examined these considerations as a physical, material, sociological environment.

A collaboration with students from the disciplines of Interior architecture, Digital + Media, and Industrial Design to research Cessna Aircraft Company's current regulatory and physical constraints along with performance requirements of personal aircraft in the Citation Hemisphere’s class.

In addition, anticipatory design issues involving the media artifact and the ephemerality of technology were addressed. The research included the construction of speculative user profiles, conceptual narratives, alternative performance needs, and environmental conditions with a focus on behaviours in a technological space.
